in FAITH and in LOVE!"


The dignity of women

Regarding the vocation of women 
the Holy Father wants to acknowledge their contributions to the material and cultural development  

of the

Continent of America 
especially in the areas of 
 consecrated life,

education

   and 

health care.

Because WOMEN should always BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY ~~

the Synod Fathers strongly denounce discrimination, sexual abuse and male domination 
as actions that 
act directly against  
 God's plan 
of 
LOVE!

He fully recognizes their desires to fully partake in church, social, cultural and economic life.

 

The Synod Fathers also fully acknowledge the 
discrimination that faces many of the economically poor women in America. 
Our Holy Father definitely condemns the practice of some countries within America that  purposefully sterilize its women~~
often without the women themselves realizing it, in order to obtain monetary aid  from other countries.  

Speaking for the 
CHURCH IN AMERICA, 
our Holy Father wishes that greater concern and protection be given to women so "...society in America can better support family life based on marriage,

better protect motherhood 

and show greater respect for the dignity of all women."  

Because women are 
the 
first teachers 
of their children,

  their role is essential 
in 
preserving 
and 
 handing down 
the 
 faith 
to them!

He further acknowledges how important it is that women who function  in leadership roles within American society need to possess much 
understanding in order to perform their work
with 
 dignity.

It is important for the Church to remember to
 always utilize their talents
in the best way possible because

today the Catholic Church
realizes that
women are equal to men
in their ability to give
their
time, service, and talents
in order to advance the
life and mission of the Church.
