Come that as a result of our CONVERSION That

reminds
us that
The CHURCH IN AMERICA
is truly
THE
Universal Church,
and
we MUST,
in a concrete and
living way,
demonstrate her
SOLIDARITY
by helping
|
those who |

or a decent place to live! |

The ultimate goal of the
entire Universal Church
is that no one
have to experience the painful
situation of feeling
that they are an
outcast
of society!
In order to realize this goal,
the
"Universal" Catholic Church

MUST be a Church which ASSISTS,

Which is
IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS!

Pope John Paul II further instructs us that we MUST have a

special |

Because
"Sacred Scripture reminds us that God
hears the cry of the poor!" (Psalm
34, verse 7)

Our Holy Father feels that this extremely important
work
of the Church
with the

As St. Paul instructs us, Jesus,
Himself, became one of the poor
and outcast,
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
being rich He became poor, for your sakes: that through His
poverty you might be rich." |
